Hey, You, beautiful soul!
Looking for practical, easy and affordable ways how to live environmentally friendly especially on a student budget? Then you are in the right place.
But first, let me introduce myself. 🙂

I am Anna, a communications student from Latvia, studying in Lithuania and now for 5 months living in Belgium as an Erasmus+ student.
I am passionate about the zero-waste lifestyle, veganism, traveling, self – development. In other words, living your extra life with minimal waste. I believe that each of us has the power and ability to change the way how we consume by paying attention to our everyday habits.

The essence of the blog is to show how to live eco-friendly without extremely changing your daily life and budget. My favorite quote by Anne Marie Bonneau sums up my blog’s mission.
“We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly. We need millions of people to do it imperfectly. ” Anne Marie Bonneau
I started my zero waste journey 2 years ago after watching documentaries, researching and being vegan for a year. I realized that eating plant-based is not only about animals or health but also the environment. Animal agriculture is having a huge negative impact on Planet Earth. Check out my interview on the university website.

Then I joined “The Habits” (Facebook) (Instagram) environmental club in my university and now I am always learning and educating others about how to live sustainably without sacrificing comfort, taste, and lust for life.

On the website, I am sharing my personal experience being a vegan environmentalist on a student budget. I believe that a plant-based, zero-waste lifestyle is not hard or expensive. Totally opposite! I have saved a lot of money, discovered new, delicious recipes and improved my health.

Zero-waste, minimalism, low waste is lifestyle is a philosophy that less is more. It means choosing quality over quantity by supporting companies who make products in an ethical, sustainable way. It means following a circular economy instead of a linear one by reducing, reusing, repairing, recycling.
Zero waste means investing in people and experiences over material things. It means being conscious of our everyday choices and how it affects the environment and health. A zero-waste lifestyle means less stuff, less stress, more living!
